House Lucy Ražanac

The holiday you deserve — sea, silence and a taste of Dalmatia, all in one place.

Welcome to Ražanac

On the quiet side of northern Dalmatia, along the coast of the Velebit Channel, lies Ražanac – a small town that captivates with its blend of nature, tradition and a relaxed Mediterranean rhythm. Just a few minutes' drive from Zadar, yet far enough from the city bustle for a real holiday.

The history of Ražanac is visible at every turn – from the parish church that dominates the town to the remains of the 16th-century Kaštelina fortress, built as a defence against Ottoman incursions. Two small islets, Ražanac Mali and Ražanac Veli (Školji), give the harbour its distinctive character – once a refuge for locals, today a peaceful haven for seagulls.

The town is known for its crystal-clear sea and natural beaches stretching along the coast. Mostly pebble and rocky, with spots suitable for families with children as well.

Ražanac also takes pride in its rich traditions – the Ražanačko kolo folk dance and local flavours round off the experience. It's the perfect choice for anyone seeking a peaceful seaside holiday while keeping nature, culture and adventure within arm's reach.
